$1000 for Out of the Cold

The recent Robbie Burns Dinner was a success in every way! Not only did it raise over a thousand dollars to support the Out of the Cold program, feeding the hungry in our downtown, but it was a rollicking good time for the hundred or so people who were able to get tickets. The speeches were entertaining, everyone joined in the singing and eight adventurous souls had a quick lesson and then joined with the Knox Scottish Country Dancers to perform the Cumberland Reel, receiving enthusiastic applause from the guests.

Our thanks to all who donated funds in addition to the ticket price, and to those who made the dinner so much fun!
