The Ceremony
Weddings at Knox are services of worship, following the traditions of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. They are normally conducted by our minister, although there may be occasions when it is appropriate for another minister to be involved.
Same-sex weddings are welcome in our sanctuary.
If you are thinking of having your wedding at Knox, our minister will be happy to meet with you to talk you through planning your service.
The wedding package of $1200 includes use of the Sanctuary for both the rehearsal and ceremony, along with fees for the minister, organist and custodian.
The Garden
Knox’s courtyard garden is a welcome oasis surrounded by the hustle and bustle of Elgin Street. Composed primarily of perennials, the garden is an ever-changing entity which evolves from season to season and year to year. Everything contained in it has been specifically chosen to complement the beautiful stone backdrop. Both the plants and labour to maintain and enhance the garden are donated. The predominant colour scheme of yellow, white and dark purple makes the space an inviting spot for weddings.
