This week’s worship theme is “Good Grief”, about the importance and benefit of processing sorrow.

Sunday's sermon is based on readings from Psalm 116, the story of David’s sorrow in 2 Samuel 1, the weeping of Jesus after Lazarus’ death in John 11, and the beatitude from Matthew 5:4, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”

In both the Old and New Testaments, there is ample evidence and even instruction that while grief is extremely difficult, it can also be good for us.

Join us in the sanctuary this Sunday @ 11 a.m., online through our Facebook page, or archived on our website.
