In the global church calendar, this Sunday, November 1st is All Saints Day. Traditionally celebrated mostly in Roman Catholic circles, in recent decades, many other Christian denominations have begun various ways of recognizing All Saints Day. At Knox on Sunday, we will do so by making mention of people from our community who have died within the last year and offering gratitude to God for them. Sunday's sermon is What is a Saint? based on readings from Psalm 116, Revelation 7:9-16, and an Apocryphal reading from the Wisdom of Solomon, 3:1-9.
