Swing Into Spring

Join us on Saturday, April 29th from 2-4 p.m. in the Knox Sanctuary for a concert with The Wild Cards Band in support of our Out of the Cold program. 

Knox has not hosted a fundraiser for OOTC since before the pandemic and this will be an opportunity to support the program, enjoy some great swing music in our sanctuary, and offer gratitude for all the generosity of volunteers, partnerships, and financial gifts received the last three years.

To purchase advance tickets for $15, the following options are available:

AT KNOX ON SUNDAYS: In Geneva Hall after Sunday Worship on March 26, April 2, 9, 16 & 23

AT THE DOOR: Tickets will be available at the door on the day of the concert for $20

DONATIONS: If you unable to attend the concert and would like to donate toward the cause, the following options are available: 

1. E-transfers.    Knox is set up to receive e-transfers via on-line banking.   When sending an e-transfer, forward to knoxottawa@rogers.com and include OOTC Wild Cards Fundraiser in the message box.   This will ensure your donation is deposited into our Out of the Cold fund and also helps us track total money raised through the concert! 

2. Canada Helps: Knox uses the Canada Helps donor portal and it can be found on our website by clicking on the “Donate” button at the top of the home page, then “Donate Now,” which will take you directly to the Canada Helps portal.   When in the portal, look for the drop down menu of donation options and find OUT OF THE COLD.   Again, in the message box, if you write "OOTC Wild Cards Fundraiser" this will ensure the donation will be included in the total money raised through this fundraiser.    Keep in mind that while this option is convenient, Canada Helps receives a 3.5% fee. 

3. Sunday Offerings, Centre 120 Door, or Canada Post:  Donations can be placed in an envelope, marked with a note, OOTC Wild Cards Fundraiser, and placed in our offering plates on Sundays.  They can also be dropped off into our Centre 120 Door Mail Slot, or sent via Canada Post to Knox Presbyterian Church, 120 Lisgar Street, Ottawa  K2P OC2.
