Walk for Food

Everyone is welcome to join people from Knox and other downtown churches for the annual Walkathon in support of the Centretown Emergency Food Centre.   Registration begins at 1:30 PM at City Hall (across the street from Knox) and the Walkathon begins 2PM.    

Collect sponsors and participate in this great fundraiser with the 2KM or 4KM route!   

Knox is pleased to be an active partner of the group of 23 Centretown Churches working together under the umbrella of the Centertown Churches Social Action Committee which oversees the Centretown Emergency Food Centre. 

In addition to offering a scenic walk around Parliament Hill,  the Walk for the Centre raises awareness of the need for better food security for many in our community. Thanks to the generosity of more than 1,000 sponsors from CCSAC member churches, friends and family, the Walk has raised over $50,000 for the Food Centre.

Plan to join us on Sunday, October 6, 2019 to once again Walk for the Centre!
