Applications are open for Student Internships at Knox for the 2025-26 academic year!
This will be the seventh year of the KNOX STUDENT INTERNSHIP program and we're excited about the possibilities of having new students come alongside us in ministry again with their talents, skills, and enthusiasm in the coming year.
We love having students joining us in worship and mission at Knox, and our Internship Program offers great ways to get involved in a faith community, helping in a specialized area of ministry. Past and present student interns have continued and expanded their involvement through assisting with livestreaming and/or pre-recorded worship services, posting events on our website, Facebook and Instagram, teaching online Sunday School, recordings of Children's Time, Songs, and Readings for our online worship, updating our electronic email list, and upgrading our online database of photos. Our Interns have truly helped Knox Church navigate some significant and necessary pivots throughout the pandemic and beyond!
For the upcoming academic year, we are looking for young adult student interns (up to a maxium of 3) to help us adapt to our continued changing circumstances, including opportunities of assisting our church community find a 'new normal'. As we've experienced the last few years, Knox Church values and needs the expertise and energy students are able to offer. Maybe you or someone you know could be one of them too!
We are looking for students with an interest to serve in an urban church setting, explore their spiritual gifts, develop leadership skills, and grow via mentorship with our Minister and other leaders at Knox Church.
Potential ministry experience is varied and could include opportunities in any of the following areas depending on the candidates’ gifts and interests:
