Jazz Vespers Returns for a New Season

Good news!   The Fall schedule for our 2026-27 season of Jazz Vespers is set and we're ready and eager to welcome everyone to another series of great music, poetry, readings and prayers.    See the schedule below and on the banner image. 

Jazz Vespers is a monthly hour of music & meditation each 3rd Wednesday of the month from September through May.  Once again, we have a roster of excellent jazz musicians again offering their skills and dedication with piano, saxophone, percussion and both acoustic and bass guitar.    

"Vespers" is a medieval Latin word (vesperae) meaning evening and was associated in religious circles with 'evening prayers'.   With Jazz Vespers at Knox, in addition to the music of our musicians, we incorporate prayers which are personal or communal and for our local community, city, nation and globe.     

Join us for any or all of our events, every 3rd Wednesday, from 7-8 PM.   Doors open 6:30 PM.    Invite a friend and enjoy an hour of inviting music, poetry, readings, and prayers!
