Jesus is so awesome! This week, we will be discussing the mountain of transfiguration.

The story, found in Mark 9:2–9 involves a close and personal encounter with glory, where Jesus is revealed to Peter, James, and John.

This encounter leads them scared but also sure of who Jesus is.

It encourages us to think about the moments when Jesus is near to us, and when we feel his presence. It also encourages us to think about the spaces we create for God to enter, physically in the Church building, but also posturing ourselves towards Christ in our daily schedules.

 

For those of you able to join us in person, we will be meeting at 10 am on Sunday. Please bring paper and pencil crayons or markers for a colouring activity. We will also be doing a scavenger hunt.
