So, what is Alcoholics Anonymous?

Have you ever seen a symbol of a triangle in a circle and wondered what it meant? Or heard about "Friends fo Bill W" or the term "AA" and wondered who they were or what it meant?

The next presentation in our Knox Speaker Event Series will answer those questions.

A panel of AA members will present and answer questions on AA, which is a society of people who have recovered from a hopeless addiction to alcohol by trusting God, amending wrongs, and helping others.

AA's relationship to Knox is especially of interest to our community of faith, as one of the first AA groups in Ottawa formed at Knox in 1947 and has continued to utilize our facilities to this day! 

Everyone is invited and welcome at this event in the Parlour  where refreshments will be available on June 1 after the regular service.
