This weekend we celebrate the sacrament of Communion together, and will do so by walking forward to be served by our Elders. We will also witness the ordination of Nelani Colletti as a new Elder at Knox. She will also lead in preaching on Sunday morning with the message Jesus Snacks based primarily on the reading from Mark 2:23-28. Nelani is preparing for ordination as a Minister in our denomination and has been serving as Interim Pastor at Kanata Community Church this summer. Pastor Jim will serve as Liturgist, with Barb Grisdale as our Reader and we will welcome Susan Toman as our Lead Musician. Pat Beckett will be our Cantor, and along with Kris Houston and Jim Paulin, she will also be part of a Flute Trio offering music during Communion.
