Like many congregations and organizations around the world, Knox Ottawa has been involved in welcoming displaced persons and families from war-torn countries into Canada through refugee sponsorship. People of all ages and faiths have found a home in Canada through the efforts of many caring people.

Knox has responded to these humanitarian crises by sponsoring refugees from Hungary in 1956; Vietnam in 1979; El Salvador in 1991; and, more recently, from Syria, in 2016.

At the present time, Knox Ottawa is not pursuing another refugee sponsorship. Yet, if the need arises in the future, keep checking this section of the website for any announcements or updates.
