Kirk Session

The Kirk Session is the governing body of the church. Elders take decisions on issues related to church governance, missions, and outreach. The minister is responsible for decisions on the form and content of public worship, but the worship service is regularly discussed in Session. Elders serve as a channel of communication with the congregation in general, and more specifically with adherents and members in an assigned district. Session meets once a month.
