Arriving @ Knox

Sunday Start Time

Our Sunday Worship Services begin each week at 10:30 a.m.  It can be helpful to be a few minutes early to get yourself settled and oriented, though feel free to arrive whenever is convenient for you.

Our building can be a bit complicated. We have a number of entrances, though your best access on your first visit is through one of the Elgin Street doors.   You'll be greeted by one of our ushers who will offer you our weekly bulletin, help you find a place to sit in the sanctuary, and answer any questions you may have.

How should I dress?

Come dressed however you feel most comfortable.   There are people who arrive dressed quite casually for worship at Knox, others who like to wear formal business attire, and many of us are somewhere in between.

What About Children?

If you have children, they are welcome to join you in the sanctuary, though our Ushers will also be able to show you the location of our Nursery for younger children up to age 3.    Children age 3+ to youth 17 and under are welcome to exit for Sunday School near the beginning of Sunday's Service, immediately after the weekly Children's Story.

Both our Nursery and Sunday School are staffed by certified volunteers and who love sharing the good news of Jesus with children.

Other Helpful Information

If you've arrived early and Worship hasn't begun, copies of an informational brochure called, "Welcome to Knox" are available in each church pew for you to read or take home with you.   Of course, by this time you might know everything in the brochure already, because you've read entirely through this I'm New section of the Knox website!
